03 March 2021
The Ruselectronics holding of the Rostec State Corporation has begun serial deliveries of the Zavet automated control systems for anti-tank formations. One of the elements of the "Covenant" is the command and observation machine & # 40; KNM & # 41; the commander of the anti-tank battalion - presented at the stand of Ruselectronics at the international exhibition IDEX-2021 in Abu Dhabi.
The complex provides target designation to anti-tank formations and allows you to organize the repulsion of an attack by enemy armored vehicles. Presented in Abu Dhabi, the command and observation vehicle & # 40; KNM & # 41; with the help of an optical-electronic reconnaissance system and an external radar, it detects targets at a distance of up to 7000 m and their recognition at a distance of up to 5000 m. After determining the coordinates and processing the data, the system performs automatic target distribution. All information is communicated to the enemy's means of destruction in close to real time.
Reception and transmission of messages to subordinate and higher control points is carried out via radio and wire communication channels. The capabilities of the product allow you to exchange information over a distance of up to 100 km.
Automated control systems significantly increase the effectiveness of various types of weapons. The technical solutions implemented in the complex provide continuous control of anti-tank formations, including through the possibility of reconfiguring the control system and transferring the functions of the failed command posts to subordinate or higher authorities.
As part of Ruselectronics, the production of the Zavet complex is carried out by NPP Rubin.
