Traveling Wave Lamps

Ruselectronics has manufactured and supplied more than 1,500 traveling wave lamps for spacecrafts. The total operating time of the equipment in space is more than 36,000,000 hours.

The specialists of the Holding developed the first Russian on-board Traveling Wave Lamps with infrared radiation cooling. The use of this device permits to reduce the thermal load on the spacecraft’s thermal control system by more than 2 times, which increases the stability of the satellite's operation in data reception-transmission modes.
